The Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC) has invited 23 lawyers for interview for consideration for the conferment of the rank of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN).
Out of the 23 lawyers shortlisted for the interview only about 15 will be selected.
A statement signed by the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court and Secretary of LPPC, Mr. Sunday Olorundahunsi, said the interview would take place on July 8 and 9.
Among the 23 lawyers shortlisted are Mr. Festus Keyamo, Gerald- Godwin Ezeuko (Jr), Samuel Zibiri, Dr. Joshua Olukayode Olatoke, Dr. Adewale Adedamola Olawoyin, Olusola Olaseni Idowu, Chukwudi Obieze, Kevin Chukwudi Nwufo and Chief Wale Taiwo,
Others are Dr. Theophilus Akinpelu Onigbinde, Teslim Busari, Olatunde Oluranti Adejuyigbe, Richard Ayodele Akintunde and Sylvanus Ogwemoh.
Those shortlisted also include Adewale Adesokan, Taiwo Taiwo, Andrew Igboekwe, Chike Onyemenam, Fredson Chijioke Okoli, Dr. Amuda-Kannike Abiodun, Oluwakemi Balogun, Ahamefula Ikechukwu Ejelam and Hakeem Afolabi Olatunde.
The LPPC urged members of the public to comment on the integrity, reputation and competence of the applicants on or before July 7.
