ICPC worst funded anti-graft agency in Nigeria — Rep

ABUJA — CHAIRMAN, House of Representatives Committee on Anti-Corruption, National Ethics and Values, Abiodun  Faleke, yesterday, said the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC, Code of Conduct Tribunal and Code of Conduct Bureau were the worst poorly funded anti-graft agencies in Nigeria.
Faleke, who disclosed this after an interactive session with stakeholders, said:   “If the Federal Government wants to fight corruption, then it must properly fund these agencies.
”If the President wants to combat corruption, he should make the anti-corruption agencies to be totally independent and put them on the first line charge.
